I better finish my blog even for my own sake also. After Linz I was heading to Vienna. The first really cold days od autumn hit there. At this point I was grateful that I had carried other jacket with me all these weeks. Even though it was only about 0 degrees, fog and mist made the weather feel very cold. Hey, Im a weather reporter now a days!
I pity the fools who have had to spent their lives in the small and damp palaces of Vienna ;) There is three palaces in Vienna and I went to two of them. Whoaaah. Hell, the gardens were huge. Im now starting to realize the magnitude of this royal thing back in the days. I wish we could have something even close to that in Finland and I dont meant that I would like to live in a kingdom, I just would like to have that kind of buildings and gardens. Fortunately they have managed to avoid shelling during the wars.
And to you Christmas fanatics, go to some big city in central Europe and be amazed. In Vienna only there were at least 5 different Christmas markets full of sweets, Christmas decorations, hot wine and everything you can imagine. Theres a couple of photos from one of the biggest, but I would had to have taken the picture from helicopter so that it would show the magnitude of the market.

To summarize Vienna. Nice place. Gotta go back during the summer someday. If you love palaces, go there.
