Folks, Im back in Finland. I know that theres still some blogging to do and I will do it some day but now I just wanted to tell you that Im back at home. To be honest it feels a bit strange. Eventhough it was only a 2,5 months it feels like a lifetime and in the same time it feels that I only left Järvenpää (my hometown) yesterday.
Thanks to all you guys who commented my posts. Also greetings and thanks to all of those people who I met during my journey, to all of those I spent time with, explored the cities, drank, ate, danced, sang and played. You made the trip worth doing it!
Now Im just figuring how and when I can travel again...

10-14.11 Linz
Ok folks, theres not so much to tell you about my visit to Linz. Linz is Austrias third largest city but my reason to go there was purely to meet Daniel whom I met twice in Scotland. My stay there was 3 days of partying in a row and then 2 days of recovering. Clubs, pubs, underground clubs, you name it, we did it.
But hey, I have never eaten so good bacon and ham than in Linz. We went to market and bought two different kinf of ham and some salami and they were f*cking amazing. Daniel also had some great bacon in fridze already, delicious. This stuff with a loaf of fresh bread for breakfast with some eggs and I was in heaven.
We share a similar kind sense of humor with Daniel, and this was our theme song fot the whole weekend. To be honest, girls around the city didnt really understand this one when we sang this ;)
We also watched all three Austin Powers movies.. Groovy!

7-9.11 Cesky Krumlov
The real and original Budweiser is made in Ceske Budejovic and the city was on my route towards Cesky Krumlov and Austria, Linz. Those are the reasons I decided to stay there for a night. Richard (from Prague) said to me that the place is worth 2 hours including a meal but I wanted to see my self. I spent one hour in Budejovic and hopped to a train again and went to C. K.
Richard had recommendet this Krumlov house-hostel in C. K. and there I went. Nice, cosy, small, just the way I prefer.
In C. K. we had a really nice group of people. The first evening I spent alone just watching some movies and having a nice medieval dinner but next day I met Jeremy (New Zealand), Iain (Canada), Simon and Anna (Ausralia) and we hung together the next couple of days eating some rabbit and pheasant, drinkin locar beer in very shady restaurants and pubs with some witty humor.
The town itself was beautiful, small and beautiful. It goes without saying that theres a castle and a old town center. Its difficult to imagine that those cobblestone streets used to be asphalt only 5 yers ago. Damn communists!*
*They wanted to tear everything old down and build concrete blocks. Thank god they didnt succeed everywhere, but still too many remarkable historical towns in former Eastern bloc was demolished in the name of communism and concrete. Having now seen a few of those cities (Prague, C. K. Bratislava, Ljubljana), it just makes my blood boil. Period.

Prague part II
I have to tell this story from Prague.
Im in my dorm reading my book. Theres also two girls from Germany (not those in picture in previous Prague post). In comes this girl saying nothing, but going straight to bed with her clothes on. I had talked to this American girl night before, so I basically knew her. Ok, two German girls are already asleep when I stop reading and hit the lights. It takes like 30 minutes, and I hear this strangly familiar sound from one of the beds. OMG! The US girl is throwing up on her bed. Thats why she didnt say a thing, she was blasted. I can hear her spitting the rest of the womit from her throat to the pillow. I wait but nothing happens. The girl fell asleep right after throwing up if she even woke up during the process...oh shit. What to do? She is breathing so shes not dead but its quite nasty to sleep on ones womit. Ok Teemu, do what you have to do. As the German girls continued dreaming about shnitzels I flipped on my flip flops and slouched to the reception.
"Hello sir, this one girl in my room just threw up and now shes sleeping in her own womit!"
"Ok, what do you want me to do?" Said the receptionist gesturing its not his problem.
"Well, lets go see that she is ok and maybe we could change her linery so that se dont need to sleep the whole night in her own womit. Is that ok?"
"hmmmm....maybe we can do that"
We go back to the room and as you can imagine the smell was repulsive. I hit the lights on and see the whole mess. As bad as you can only imagine but girl still breathing. The only problem is that the girls is so wasted that we cant get her up. I try to tell her that it could be nice if yuo would let us to change your linery, but girl only replies "tomorrow, tomorrow". What can you do. We change the pillow and hope for the best.
I dont know how long it takes for me to hear the same repulsive sound again. F*ck, she did it again. She throws up, spits for a while and then does nothing. This can be happening to me again...noooooo, but this time its differen hence the German girls wake up also. We exchange a couple of glances with our eyebrows shifting from side to side. At the same time we rise from the beds and I switch the lights on, again. Its not a pretty sight.
The German girls are twins. Twins and nurses, both. Im not lying. Another thing to add to my "things to do before I die"-list. This time we get the girl to response and se rises up. Yay! German twin nurses takes her to a shower and I go to the reception, again. "Sir, the girl did it again, but she is on her feet, so we can change her linery now".
"Uh-huh, well I dont have a spare pillow anymore."
"Well, theres nobody in the bed next to the girls, so lets use that one??"
The girls comes from the shower with fresh clothes and I have managed to change her linery with the receptionist! A days good deed! I felt like a fatherfigure trying to cope with the situation.
So, the lesson of this story: Absinth is good for you but not in so big doze
ps. Sorry, no pictures about this incident ;)

Prague
How to put it...well I just say it as it is. I love Prague. Beautiful, lively, amazing.
Once again I witnessed how small the world is. First I run to these two beautiful German girls that use to study in Bochum and Ive been there 3 times. Strange. And of course I also met two Spanish guys I met in Berlin week ago. Weird.
Prague was a jackpot for me. Richard (member of staff in Sir Tobys hostel) was so f***ing helpful. Basically I hung out with Richard and the two German girls and a couple of guys from Sweden for the 3-4 for next days. Got to see the real Prague since we went to places I would have never found by myself. Hell, I would not even have entered the places by myself. Excellent food and drinks almost for nothing. Bar hopping in authentic pubs for natives only. Saw one of the weirdest bands ever. Weird clubs. Go-Go dancing (nice bodies btw) and so on. Yay!
There was one other guy from Finland also. Jonne. Oh shit, we both had green jackets, scarf, too long jeans with rolled trouser legs, gray hoodie and sneakers. Almost identical twins. The funniest thing was that I was the first Finnish person that the two German girls had ever met, and the second one dresses completely the same. There was some explaining to do. No, not all Finnish people dresses like this.
ps. In Sir Tobys basement was a little pub and one girl from the staff baked chocolate&raisin cookies for 25 koronas a piece. Delicious.
