28.9-1.10 Edinburgh

Last morning in Inverness. It just happened that I was already at sleep, when this older guy came thumbling to the dorm I was. Well, no problemo there, Im at a hostel, so people come and go, but this man was like a elephant in a porcelain store. And whats whit the murmur and snarl? Through all the nite, the man kept this strange noice, either he was having the best erotic dream of his life, or he was kicking the bucket. And yes, he smelled too...darn!

Talking about Edinburgh. Im in love with the city! Its the first city on my journey that I could imagine living in, and believe me, there aint many of those places. For all you new couples in love, go there and make some babies. Its a romantic city. My hostel was right next to the Edinburgh castle...nice. Theres this big hill just next to the city, and from there you can see the whole city. Once again, I was sweating like a pig, when I got to the top, but it was worth it. I had this nice Cuban cigar with me, and as soon as I get to the top, I light it up. Man, did I look like a tourist with that hefty 45min cigar on my mouth :)
Can you imagine, there wasnt a single garbage on the hill. Whoooot. If we had this kind of a place back in Finland, it would be full of McDonalds doggy bags, broken glass, empty bottles, used condoms, but not in Edinburgh, no even a single garbage. Nice!


One of the best things about traveling around UK, is that there some kind of a tourist info in every town or city. So even though I new nothing about the cities I was about to stay, I got everything I needed in those places. Free map of the city, the location of the hostels, sights to see and so on. And the hostels now the best pubs...easy.

Had my first pub crawl in E. You gather a herd of thirsty people, and go to 5 or 6 pubs with them, with special offers and stuff like that. You can only imagine the amounts of alcohol people drank. Isnt it like the best idea ever, to get blasted just the before the day youre gonna travel for 8 hours in a bus and in a ferry. Teemu, I salute you ;)
